We can live life victoriously because Jesus Christ IS the victory. Pastor John Alexander. Sanctuary Church Orlando. RE/POSITIONED. Where do you stand? “Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” Jeremiah 6:16 WE NEED TO BE POSITIONED IN THE WORD OF GOD. John 17:17 Have you ever been to a chiropractor and been told you are out of alignment? When things are out of place, it can cause a lot of pain. When we are out of place with God, it can also cause a lot of pain. Life can be a mess when you don't follow the will of God for your life. God has a place and a plan for you. " I want THE purpose and potential of God in my life today." Q- Where can you find God's will for your life? A- In the Bible. Stay positioned in the Word. God is still centered on his word. 4 QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PLACE OF THE WORD OF GOD - IN YOUR LIFE? Q- How important is the Bible to you? “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalms 1:1-2 KJV Q- Who is speaking into your life? Q- Do you take daily time for the Bible? If you don't take time to hide it in your heart, you won't know what it says. It is not about just sitting and listening, it is about taking time to study yourself. Q- Do you STUDY the Bible? “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Four things the Bible does, when you hide it in your heart. 1- It pulls us from sin. (Conviction.) 2- It shows us how to live for Christ. (Direction.) 3- It put right thoughts in our mind. (Protection.) 4- It plants us by the waters of life. (Provision.) CALL TO ACTION: This new year, take time to study, learn, and apply, the Bible in your life. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Jesus - John 15:7 KJV
